Description
EDIBLE FOLIAGE – Apple Mint is a decorative and versatile herb, valued for both its appearance and flavour. Its softly textured, fragrant leaves can be used in a variety of culinary ways – from making apple mint jelly and mint tea to adding a fresh twist to couscous, salads, or as a garnish for desserts and drinks.
PLANTING POSITION – A hardy and low-maintenance plant, Apple Mint thrives in full sun to partial shade. It prefers rich, moist, well-drained soil and is an excellent choice for herb gardens, borders, or containers.
HEIGHT & SPREAD – Grows to a height of10–50cm, with a spread of 1–1.5 metres, forming a lush, spreading clump. Best kept in check with regular pruning or by growing in pots to prevent it becoming invasive.
