Description
Ceanothus Skylark is a vigorous evergreen shrub prized for its bright blue flower clusters that appear in Spring and early Summer. The flowers create a spectacular wash of colour, while the dense green foliage keeps the plant looking smart and full throughout the year.
It is a fantastic choice for adding height and structure to borders, and it also performs exceptionally well when grown against a wall or fence in a warm position. Planted in groups, Ceanothus Skylark creates a striking display and brings a Mediterranean feel to UK gardens.
Grow in full sun in well drained soil and choose a sheltered spot protected from strong winds. Water well during dry spells while young, then it will cope better once established. Trim after flowering to encourage bushy growth and avoid heavy pruning which can reduce performance.
