Description
Heuchera ‘Marmalade’ is one of those plants that really warms up a garden. Its leaves come in rich shades of amber, orange and copper, and the colour can shift slightly through the seasons, so it always feels a bit interesting rather than static.
It grows into a neat, compact clump, which makes it easy to place just about anywhere — in borders, pots or mixed containers. It’s especially good for adding a bit of warmth and contrast, and works really nicely alongside greens or darker foliage.
Up close, the leaves have a nice texture to them, which adds a bit more character. In late spring and summer, it may send up small, delicate flowers, but it’s really the foliage that makes this plant stand out.
Once it’s settled in, it’s very easy to look after and doesn’t need much attention, making it a great choice if you want something low effort but still full of colour.
