Honeyberry Mix

  • This Honeyberry mix combines three excellent varieties - Blue Velvet, Morena and Kamschatica - selected for their early cropping, flavour and reliability. Honeyberries are among the earliest fruiting shrubs, producing small creamy-white flowers in late winter to early spring, followed by elongated blue berries from late spring into early summer. The fruits have a sweet, slightly tangy flavour similar to blueberries and are ideal for eating fresh, baking, freezing and making jams.

  • Growing multiple varieties together greatly improves pollination and yields, making this mixed selection a smart choice for fruit gardens and allotments. At maturity, plants form neat, bushy shrubs reaching around 1-1.5 metres in height. Supplied as a mix of 3 or 6 plants in 9cm pots, they establish easily and perform reliably in UK conditions.
