Description
Penstemon Firebird produces vivid tubular flowers in deep red shades, adding bold colour from early summer through to the first frosts. The trumpet-shaped blooms are rich in nectar, making them a magnet for bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects throughout the Summer months.
Ideal for adding height and colour to garden beds, cottage-style borders or containers, with upright stems and neat foliage. Drought tolerant and easy to grow. Simply deadhead to extend blooming. A tough UK perennial, it returns yearly. Mulch in Winter for extra frost protection.
