Description
Attractive Foliage - Pineapple Mint is one of the most visually striking mint varieties, with its soft green leaves edged in creamy white. Not only is it fragrant and flavourful, but it’s also highly versatile. Use it in drinks, teas, and desserts, as a pretty garnish, or in any recipe that calls for mint. Its ornamental appeal makes it ideal for groundcover, containers, and even hanging baskets.
Planting Position - Best grown in partial shade, though it will tolerate full sun. Pineapple Mint prefers moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Due to its spreading habit, it’s recommended to grow this mint in a pot or confined area to prevent it becoming invasive in borders or beds.
Height & Spread - Grows to a height of 10-50cm, with a spread of up to 1.5 metres. Regular pruning will help keep it compact and encourage bushier growth.
