Cordyline Torbay Red
The Cordyline Torbay Red also commonly known as New Zealand Cabbage Palm is an RHS award-winning variety. It is an evergreen, winter-hardy shrub that has lovely deep bronze-red foliage. Its sword-shaped leaves can grow up to 75cm in length. When mature, large clusters of tiny, cream-fragrant flowers form during the months of June to August.
Will grow in south or east-facing areas in full sun to partial shade, in moist, well-draining soil. Once established, Cordylines need little attention but will require winter protection if temperatures drop below -5.
