Description
The Mangave is a intergeneric hybrid of the Manfreda and Agave, inheriting the best parts from both plants. The Agave gives it the large, architectural form and durability. While the Manfreda gives it the unique colouring and markings and softer spines - making it easier to handle.
They are fast growing and can grow to a considerable size, depending on how they are watered. Like all succulents, the Mangave is water sensitive - too much water can cause them to rot away and not enough water, can prevent them growing.
