Description
Allium Moly, also known as Lily Leek or Golden Garlic, is a vigorously growing clump forming perennial that flowers in early Summer. It produces small umbels of bright golden yellow starry shaped flowers loved by pollinating insects, growing up to 30 cm in height.
These bulbs are great for growing in flower beds, garden borders, or patio pots. These Allium plants make a great addition to any planting arrangement and do particularly well when planted en masse. They are an excellent accompaniment to other plants in blues and purples. Allium Moly can also be used as cut flowers, allowing you to enjoy them indoors.
If you are not ready to plant bulbs now, then store them in a cool, dry, frost free, well ventilated location. A garage, shed, loft or cupboard are ideal. Open the paper bag to allow air to circulate round but leave the bulbs in their bags until ready to plant.
