Description
Allium Roseum, commonly known as Rosy Garlic, is a mid to fast growing late Spring to early Summer flowering perennial, which can grow up to a height of 60cm. It produces pretty, open clusters of pink flowers loved by pollinating insects.
These bulbs are great for growing in flower beds, garden borders or in patio pots. Their soft tones make it a good plant for mixed planting schemes. This ornamental onion is best planted en masse to add pockets of colour to your garden between early Spring and mid Summer. Allium Roseum can also be used as cut flowers allowing you to enjoy them indoors.
If you are not ready to plant bulbs now, then store them in a cool, dry, frost free, well ventilated location. A garage, shed, loft or cupboard are ideal. Open the paper bag to allow air to circulate round but leave the bulbs in their bags until ready to plant.
